The Compassionate Listening Project

is a non-profit organization which provides direct training in conflict torn areas around the world. The organization was interested in generating a significant amount of capital in order to move beyond their general fiscal cycle of small individual donations. Talking Box Media worked with The Compassionate Listening Project in scripting, producing, and editing an informational DVD about the project and it's history.

The DVD has been instrumental in securing new funding resources for continueing operations, and also in generating new contracts for the training element of the project.

The Daughters-Sisters Project,

now the Teen Talking Circle Project is a non-profit organization that provides peer to peer support and mentoring for teenage boys and girls.

Talking Box Media worked with the Daughters-Sisters Project through the complete production cycle to create a piece that emphasized their core values, and has provided a resource for ongoing fund-raising. The DVD has also become a key element in the training of new facilitators for the project.

The Dream Community,

is a non-profit organization outside of Taipei that is working to transform urban sprawl in Taiwan through cultural programming and artistic exchange. Talking Box Media produced a documentary about their anuual Dream Parade.

This project involved leading the client through the entire process from pre to post production, and culminated in a multi-lingual DVD with subtitles. Speakers were in English, French, German, and Mandarin.

The Vernacular Project:

Talking Box Media was awarded grants and gifts from a number of cultural arts organizations and corporate entities in the production of an audio documentary about HIV/AIDS in the U.S. Along with being featured on NPR and other radio programs around the globe, the Vernacular Project became part of a travelling installation in collaboration with New York photographer Dan Weisser.

Children of the Budha:

Talking Box Media traveled to Bodhgaya India to gather content for a non-profit video related to schools.

We have worked with a number of small businesses to create ads for television and online. These ads have been very successful at bringing new customers to our clients.
